Chiayi County and Chiayi City launched a program (到宅訓練外籍看護工計畫) that tailored for the disabled elders. Through professional and foreign interpreters teaching and translating at home, the profession is brought into the home of the client, reducing the language barrier of foreign care workers.

The department of Health created a set of multilingual care chart cards that cover wound care, turning over, nasogastric tube care, urine catheter care, tracheostomy tube care, regular nursing education and training, and a tutorial video, provides international caregivers the best and quickest chance to comprehend nursing techniques. The card also has a QRCode that can be scanned to access video exercises that may be downloaded from the long-term care center's website or obtained from the long-term care centers.

The website of the Chiayi County Long-term Care Center also links to the project introduction video, and leaflets for application and contact information in various townships. In the near future, it plans to translate Vietnamese nursing skills and health education to strengthen the ability of foreign nursing care.
