Four well-known individuals from Taiwan made the list of the "TIME100 Most Influential People in AI" published by the US "TIME" magazine, including Taiwan's digital minister Audry Tang, Jensen Huang, the president and co-founder of Nvidia, Kai-Fu Lee, the chairman and CEO of Sinnovation, and Ted Lieu, the congressman from the United States.
It can be classified into four groups, according to Time Magazine's list classification: "Leader," "Innovators," "Shapers," and "Thinkers." On the list are a number of well-known people from all over the world, such as Sam Altman, CEO of ChatGPT R&D, former CEO of Google Eric Schmidt, and Tesla CEO Elon Musk.

Audry Tang, the minister of digital affairs for Taiwan, is included under "Shapers." The first minister of the Ministry of Digital Affairs, Audry Tang, is tasked with a challenging task, according to the magazine, not just to secure Taiwan's "digital resilience," but also to confront the threats and opportunities that artificial intelligence poses to democratic societies.

The president and co-founder of NVIDIA, Jensen Huang, also mentioned in his introduction that he was born in Tainan, raised in Thailand, and then eventually settled in the United States with his family. In 1993, Huang and two pals formed NVIDIA and became a significant worldwide microprocessor producer leading the AI revolution. The market need for chips has expanded dramatically along with the explosive growth of large-scale language models like ChatGPT, which is highly influential globally.
