Since many newlyweds who immigrated to Taiwan did not speak Chinese well, they encountered communication and informational barriers during prenatal appointments. A signing ceremony was recently held between the association (苗栗感恩慈善協會) and the international pharmaceutical business (MSD). In addition to offering "interpreter appointment service," the two parties will collaborate to create small cards with QR codes for the "Multilingual Health Education Handbook," the "Childcare Health Education Handbook," and the "Health Insurance Prenatal Checkup Subsidy Flyer" in the new immigrants' native tongues. New immigrant mothers can get beyond the language barrier and successfully finish the prenatal checkup during pregnancy.

The National Immigration Coalition's chairman (林麗蟬) commended Merck Sharp & Dohme, MSD and the association (苗栗感恩慈善協會) for their unwavering support in enabling new immigrant moms to get more personalized treatment in Taiwan.
In order to assist new immigrant mothers in raising awareness of HPV and emphasizing the value of preventive measures and early detection sex, the association (苗栗感恩慈善協會) also organized for the Taiwan Health Center Professionals Association (THCPA) to hold a lecture on human papillomavirus (HPV) health education and cancer prevention on the day of the signing ceremony.
