American missionary Ms. Anna Lee arrived in Taiwan in 1967 and has been preaching there for 56 years. The National Immigration Agency Hsinchu County Service Center specially awarded the "Mackay Project" Qualifications, which include a permanent residence permit with preferential treatment on public transportation, entertainment facilities, etc., as a way of expressing gratitude to Ms. Anna Lee for dedicating her life to Taiwan.
According to the National Immigration Agency, Ms. Anna Lee initially traveled to Taitung to work as a teacher at an American school. She then went on to work in Dajia, Waipu, Hsinchu, and other areas doing church construction projects and evangelism. During her tenure at the church, Ms. Anna Lee gave special attention to young people because she understood the value of language and an international viewpoint for young students. She helped them develop in life and in their religion in addition to starting English lessons to teach the language. Furthermore, Ms. Anna Lee also gives the female friends who visit the church extra consideration. She frequently offers support, listens to their concerns, and prays for them.

Even after retiring, Ms. Anna Lee continued to serve the public, dedicating her life to Taiwan. Ms. Anna Lee is appreciated by the National Immigration Agency Hsinchu County Service Center for her work in Taiwan.
