This year's New Taipei City Austronesian Cultural Festival took place in New Taipei City Shihsanhang Museum of Archaeology. The Museum offers the public the chance to participate in South Island ritual activities and learn about ritual materials in an effort to advance the etiquette culture of the region. With a total of 40 booths and 20 performances, the event debuted four key topics in the form of cross-regional exchanges: music and dance performances, skill experiences, cultural and creative marketplaces, and cuisine feasts.

Indigenous singers, the "Austronesian Tuvalu Cultural Performance Troupe," (南島語系吐瓦魯文化表演團) the "Te Natira'a Austronesian Tahiti Art Studio," and other Austronesian cultural and art troupes were also specially invited. These groups brought both traditional and contemporary aboriginal music and dance performances, allowing those with an interest in Pacific or Southeast Asian culture to witness the international exchange of Austronesian languages.
