[Taiwan Immigrants’ Global News Network] International Mother Language Day is observed annually on February 21st. This weekend, the Hsinchu County Public Library began a series of programs in honor of World Mother Language Day, encouraging people to learn more about multilingualism via experience activities.

The director of the Cultural Affairs Bureau, Hsinchu County Government (李安妤) said that in response to the International Mother Language Day, the first floor lobby of the Cultural Affairs Bureau Library will launch mother tongue-themed book fairs in February and March. Two exhibitions, from now until February 27, (年語年文學展) and from March 1 to March 27, (言花語遊玩趣) will be exhibited. Activities (口簧琴傳遞部落傳說) (泰雅風味的親子狩獵趣) will be held in the children's room of the library on February 19th.

On February 20th and March 6th , respectively, parent-child handicrafts and experiential activities with a Hakka and Taiwanese theme will be organized, and indigenous singers will be invited to convey beautiful aesthetics from their way of life.
