With the epidemic slowdown in Taiwan, the Kinmen County Government announced that from October 1, no rapid tests are needed for passengers entering Kinmen Shang yi (尚義) Airport with either of the following requirements. Possessing a negative nucleic acid test (PCR) report or rapid antigen test report within 3 days, or completing two-dose vaccines for 14 days.

The Kinmen County Government stated that the central government has recently announced that it is relaxing control measures for epidemic prevention in certain areas and will open some leisure and entertainment venues on some conditions from October 5.
The vaccination coverage rate in Kinmen County is increasing. If asymptomatic passengers with any of the following, (1) possessing a negative nucleic acid test report or rapid antigen test report within 3 days, (2) a complete vaccination of two doses for 14 days, no rapid test is required.
The aforementioned reports can be in the forms of the National Health Insurance (NHI) App, a hard copy issued by the medical institution (named) or text message (named), the vaccination sticker on the NHI card, and the COVID-19 vaccination record card. However, the rapid test kit cannot be used as proof.
