National Immigration Agency of the Ministry of the Interior has started a new program called "FTVwearefamily" (我們一家人 臺灣新住力) in an effort to document the challenges faced by new immigrants in Taiwan as well as the diversity of other nations. There are three fearless and kind new immigrants in this episode (勇於付出的斜槓人生). Along with bravely overcoming life's challenges, they also want to use their skills and talents fully and give back to the community.

In response to Taiwan's aging population, Han Yue-hong (韓岳紅), a new immigrant from Anhui Province, founded the third long-term care facility in Xingfu village, Xizhi, New Taipei City. Han handled every aspect of course planning and instructor recruitment alone, and the local elders also cared for her as if she were their own daughter.
