During the epidemic, colleges and universities have started school. However, some parents faced difficulties such as work reductions and suspension of salaries, but they need to pay for their children’s tuition, fees and living expenses immediately. The Rotary Club of Nantou (南投扶輪社友偕同慈善單位基金會) learned that the teachers of National Nantou Senior High School (南投高中) seriously teaches the well-behaved children of new immigrants to enhance good character and academic excellence for them to enter the university. Each student will be given NT$20,000 yuan in scholarships and grants to help the economically disadvantaged freshmen to overcome some difficulties.

Chen Yu-Hsing (陳雨幸), one of the students who received aid, was admitted to the Department of Psychology at Kaohsiung Medical University (高雄醫學大學心理學系) this year. She called it a gift to new immigrants’ mothers. Chen Yu-Hsing, who grew up in a single-parent family, developed a caring and independent personality from an early age. She received professional course training for three years and obtained multiple English and Japanese language certifications. He was active in special courses to produce news in English and received praises in the production of films for Visit the Tea Expo. She also has more outstanding performances in activities outside the school, and she hopes to repay her alma mater for all the cultivation and encouragement.

In addition, the National Nantou Senior High School’s Stars Project has excellent results, but some disadvantaged students with poor backgrounds are facing problems due to the interruption of their main source of income due to the epidemic. Therefore, the Rotary Club of Nantou contacted National Nantou Senior High School and asked the teachers to recommend students who need help, and let the disadvantaged students welcome the start of school with peace of mind. If they have successful careers in the future, they will also help those in need of assistance and let this love to continue to go around.
