The post sparked discussions, with many netizens expressing similar confusion. Some pointed out, "Whether premium or superior, iodization is the most important." Others shared tips on choosing salt based on the packaging: "The one with fish, shrimp, scallion, and cabbage patterns is suitable for cooking, while the plain one is better for washing or pickling."Netizens share: "The salt with fish, shrimp, scallion, and cabbage patterns is suitable for cooking, while the plain one is better for washing or pickling." Regarding this issue, Taiyen's official Facebook page had previously explained that "Premium Iodized Salt" is a general-purpose salt suitable for everyday cooking, while "Superior Iodized Salt" contains concentrated seawater mineral liquid, enhancing the flavor of dishes. For adding taste to dishes, it is recommended to use Superior Iodized Salt, and for pickling or washing vegetables, Premium Iodized Salt is suggested.

This discussion showed that many consumers do not fully understand the classification and uses of salt, and the official explanation of Taiwan Salt can help people make more suitable choices when purchasing.
