Second only to South Korea in the Asia-Pacific area, Taiwan has emerged as a hacker-attack hotspot, according to Microsoft's latest annual digital defense report. According to information security experts, as artificial intelligence has advanced, hackers have also turned it into a weapon. Artificial intelligence (AI) is used to create a lot of phony accounts and images of other individuals, which makes it harder for people to recognize and spreads misleading information more quickly.

According to the research, South Korea leads the Asia-Pacific area in terms of hacker assaults, while Taiwan trails closely in second place. Ukraine is the most impacted country in Europe, Israel leads the Middle East, and Taiwan is the most affected country in Asia. The attacks against Taiwan involved a number of activities, including information theft, covert communication monitoring, and content manipulation. The strategy involved using massive network accounts for political messaging across a wide range of channels.

This has made it more difficult to defend against cyber armies, particularly those operating abroad. People can only read and check more on the Internet; they should not allow misleading information to infiltrate their life.
