The Garden of Hope Foundation-Migrants has created a "Frequently Asked Questions and Answers about Migrant Workers After Being Pregnant in Taiwan" on its official Facebook page and offers a consultation hotline with devoted staff to answer pertinent questions, in response to the common queries faced by migrant workers after becoming pregnant in Taiwan.

With financial assistance from the Ministry of Labor, the Labor Bureau of the Taoyuan City Government entrusted The Garden of Hope Foundation to run the "Integrated Service Center for Migrant Women and Children" and offer legal consulting services and referrals to pregnant migrant workers, their employers, and agents throughout Taiwan services, case assessment, and placement services.
The number of pregnant migrant workers seeking assistance has increased, according to GOH-Migrants Director Kaili Lee, since the Integrated Service Center for Migrant Women and Children was created in January last year. For the benefit of migrant workers, GOH has made available free translations of the "FAQs about Migrant Workers After Being Pregnant in Taiwan" in Chinese, Vietnamese, Indonesian, and Filipino.
Additionally, GOH-Migrants Director Kaili Lee discovered that although more and more Taiwanese employers and intermediaries are aware that under the "Act of Gender Equality in Employment," pregnant migrant workers are not permitted to be fired at will, they are unsure of how to comply with the law.
