The Immigration Department of the Ministry of the Interior is vigorously promoting the "New Immigrants Digital Application Information Project", providing free information courses for new Immigrants, and recently held a creative activity "Looking for Taiwan's Seismic Energy" to lead new immigrants to learn that Taiwan is located in the Pacific Rim earthquake zone. Through technological experience, learn about Taiwan's natural disaster prevention and emergency response methods, offer opportunities for new immigrants and their children to learn and enhance parent-child relationship.

The National Immigration Agency stated that the activity of "Looking for Taiwan's Seismic Energy" consulate the "Fault Trough Preservation Museum", "Geoscience Hall", "Electromagnetic Vision", "Meters Shocking the World" and other facilities in the Nano Chelungpu Fault Preservation Park , to enhance new immigrants’ understanding of Taiwan’s  geological and geographical environment in the Pacific Ocean seismic zone. Besides, by visiting the “electromagnetic vision”, they can know where electricity comes from. This experiential activity is full of knowledge and pleasure.

According to the National Immigration Agency, 12 information courses will be provided this year, including Line sticker design, self-made mobile phone ringtones, Internet celebrity marketing, popular podcasts, mobile payment, etc., as well as DIY forehead card and more courses with rich contents, allowing new immigrants to make a good use of technological power to enrich themselves, improve self-confidence, and create technological life. There is also a service of "delivering courses to the doorstep", using "mobile learning vehicles" to set up mobile classrooms in various places, turning every space into a classroom, allowing unlimited learning.

In addition to that, the "New Immigrants Digital Information e-Network" provides online learning courses, which can be studied at any time for free as long as he/she registers as a member. There is also a "New Immigrants Exchange Platform" that provides multicultural introductions and various employment and education information, so that Taiwanese people and new immigrants are allow to deepen their understanding of each other's culture.
