The New Taipei City Animal Protection and Health Inspection Office, in honor of World Tourism Day, suggests five picturesque locations on the north coast where one can view animal-shaped rocks: "Big Bad Wolf and Little Sheep Rock," "Chow Chow Rock" next to Shuinan Cave Fishing Port, “Camel Mountain” next to Dongao Fishing Port in Wanli District, “Elephant Trunk Rock” next to Shen'ao Fishing Port in Ruifang District, "Chow Chow Rock" next to Nandong Fishing Port, and "Golden Hound Rock" atop Chimney Mountain. It is permissible for people to travel with their pets, and they should take use of the local establishments that have "pet-friendly" signage whether dining or lodging, to ensure that their animals are content and at ease when traveling.

In Wanli District, “Camel Mountain” is situated near to Dong'ao Fishing Port. A dromedary's form may be seen when gazing from Yehliu Ocean World's parking lot to the area of Camel Mountain. Checking into this attraction is really appropriate.

In Ruifang District, "Elephant Trunk Rock" is situated near to the Shen'ao Fishing Port. The northeast monsoon's long-term erosion combined with the waves' pounding has produced a unique landscape resembling an elephant trunk.

The New Taipei City Animal Protection and Health Inspection Office also reminds pet owners to cooperate and follow the model owner agreement, which includes microchipping, yearly rabies vaccinations, sterilizing, leash-wearing, and keeping their animals clean, well-mannered, and noise-free.
