Many people will have international travel plans throughout the summer, and depending on the airline's cabin, the size and weight of luggage will differ. Take the economy class on the Taiwanese-preference airlines China Airlines, EVA Air, and STARLUX Airlines for instance, the maximum size, weight, and dimension for one piece of carry-on luggage is 56*36*23 cm, whereas the maximum size, weight, and dimension for one piece of check-in luggage, depending on the class of flight ticket, is either one piece of 23 kg or two pieces of 23 kg each.

Products including lighters, electronic cigarettes, and power banks are prohibited from being checked, according to the rules. You must confirm that the product specs fit the standards of the airline if you wish to bring them on the plane. Fireworks, guns, weapons, lithium-battery-containing goods, kerosene, lighter fuel, bleach powder, pepper spray, pesticides, and other things that might endanger passengers during flight are examples of common contraband items that are forbidden from being checked in luggage.
Additionally, it is advised against checking valuables like jewelry, cash, and passports because the airline is not responsible for the safekeeping of checked bags.

Passengers frequently disregard liquid, gel, and spray items—including everyday needs like sanitizer, toner, and lotion—when it comes to carry-on baggage limitations. Each passenger is only allowed one bag, which must be packed with any liquids that they need to bring in containers no larger than 100 ml and sealed clear zipper bags no more than 1 liter in length and 20 cm in breadth. If travelers need to bring baby food or other liquids for medical reasons, they can consult the airline beforehand, let security know when they pass through the security checkpoint, and then bring it with them after getting permission.
Knives, hoes, mallets, or sports items, such as baseball bats, pool cue sticks, knives, electric shock devices, toy weapons of various materials, or other man-made things that may impact flight safety, are not permitted in carry-on luggage for flight safety concerns.
The Taoyuan International Airport reminds travelers that, in addition to the prohibited items, they must also take the initiative to declare any things they have acquired abroad for more than NT$20,000 at the entry declaration station. The item will be confiscated if it is not declared and is intercepted by customs.
