There are two things not to do in public areas: do not take off your mask and do not touch your nose, mouth, and eyes. Make mask a normal part of being around other people. Wearing a medical mask can help limit the spread of some respiratory diseases. Put the mask over your nose and mouth and secure it under your chin.

Also, to help prevent infections, keep your hands away from your eyes, nose, and mouth. Your hands can transfer the virus to your eyes, nose, or mouth. From there, the virus can enter your body and infect you.

As for the three things to do in public areas: follow the real-name registration system, use your pen, and wash your hands.

Taichung City First Service Center reminds the public to use the QRcode for the text message real-name registration system. And when you are unable to use the QRcode, remember to sign your name with your pen to avoid surface transmission.

And most important of all, regularly and thoroughly clean your hands with an alcohol-based hand rub or wash them with soap and water.
