- Head of the Ministry of Interior praises the NIA for African swine fever investigations
The NIA tries to prevent the African swine fever from invading Taiwan. Minister of the Interior Hsü Kuo-yung expressed his gratitude to the NIA for their efforts in controlling the virus. He also thanked the NIA officers ensuring the safety pig industries in Taiwan. - Second-generation Vietnamese new immigrant officer of the NIA cracks largest case of smuggled mooncakes

- Tainan childbirth subsidy of NTD10,000 for first born children
The Tainan City Government announced new measures for the childbirth subsidy. The Tainan City Government will provide a NTD10,000 subsidy for firstborn children.This is to encourage citizens to give birth to children in order to keep their household registration in Taiwan.
