According to The Star, the most expensive music video in Jay Chou's two-decade career is supposedly the song Greatest Works Of Art. According to a source from Yahoo Taiwan, the extravagant video, which was released in July, cost 13,500,000 TWD.

The music video was produced by three special effects studios, including the American company Digital Domain, which has won awards for its use of technology.

Within three days, the video had accumulated 10 million views on YouTube, and within 60 hours, more than 2.7 million pre-sale albums had been purchased.

Chou's first studio album since Jay Chou's Bedtime Stories in 2016 is the highly anticipated release.  In the music video, Chou, 43, plays a magician in Paris who, with the help of a friend, is suddenly transported to the 1920s.

"I realized that the iconic department store, luxury department store La Samaritaine, is a blend of current and past, classic and trendy, and I thought to myself, if this MV was shot in this new landmark of Paris, it would be so cool," Chou said in an interview with Yahoo Taiwan.
