The Department of Transportation, Taipei City Government has encouraged training subsidies prior to the motorbike licensing exam since 2012. The promotion procedure has gotten a lot of positive feedback. There would be no restriction on the number of subsidies, in addition to the one provided by the Directorate General of Highways MOTC. The subsidy beneficiary can finish the driving training courses in Taipei City's driving training class (大台北駕訓班、福安駕訓班、聯合駕訓班、華豐駕訓班、濱江駕訓班、大湖駕訓班…) and regular heavy motorcycle driving training class as long as they are at least 18 years old and are not required to be registered in Taipei City.
In addition to subsidy fees, in order to jointly respond to the promotion of traffic safety, the public is encouraged to participate in motorcycle driving training and attend classes in 6 ordinary heavy motorcycle driving training classes in Taipei City. After completing the training and obtaining a driver's license, they can enjoy on-street parking for motorcycles free of charge for one month.
