  • The passport application process has been upgraded

With the government's relaxation of border control measures, the number of people applying for passports has increased significantly.   • “Migrant Workers One-Step Service” launched with free lectures

To simplify the application process for employers to hire migrant workers, The Ministry of Labor have launched “Migrant Workers One-Step Service.” 3-day workshop will be free of charge for migrant workers. The places for self-isolation of quarantine for domestic migrant workers will also be at the employer’s home.   • New Policies Implemented in 2023; Basic Salary Raise to 26.4k, Amendment of legal Age to 18

The Taiwanese government has promulgated many new policies this year. Including basic salary will be raised to 26,400 NTD, and 18 years of age is considered an adult under Civil Code. New policy on environment protection and Citizen judges will also be implemented.
