The preliminary results of "Chinese Song Singing Competition” was released, 55 contestants were selected to enter the finals

After a rigorous and fair selection of professionals by Lin Wen-hui (林文卉) and Li Xian (李賢), Professor from Music faculty of Mahidol University, Bangkok and Li Cai-zhen (李采璇), founder of P.F. Music Academy, 55 contestants were selected to enter the finals. During the preliminary selection process, the committees felt that the musicality and voice of the Thai people were very good. Therefore, the committees have conducted multiple rounds of listening and full discussion, they considered from various angles, so that the right person will be chose.

Thai-Taiwan Association and P.F. Music Academy promote cultural exchanges between Thailand and Taiwan, and also promote Chinese language and Chinese music. They are guided by nearly 30 units such as the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Thailand, the Cultural Department of Samut Prakan province, Major corporations, societies and schools to hold "Chinese Song Singing Competition in Thailand " (2019泰國華語歌唱比賽). After publicly announced the competition information on May 13, 2019 until the end of the registration deadline on June 10, there are a total of 90 people had signed up. After that, the organizer conducted the preliminary selection on June 14.

After the selection committees listened to the video files of all the contestants throughout the day, the selection committees were amazed at the participation of the Thai people. In addition to the 80 young Thai contestants, there are many children contestants. The youngest is only 8 years old.

Moreover, the pronunciation of the Thai contestants is generally clear and accurate, showing the Thai people's positive interest in Chinese and the tolerance of Thai multiculturalism. The organizer believes that it really achieve the purpose of promoting the cultural exchange between Taiwan and Thailand.

The organizer announced the results of preliminary on the official website https://www.facebook.com/2019CSSC/ and the final will be on June 23 at 9.00 a.m. at Thai-Taiwan Association in Samut Prakan province. On that day, the Thai talented child “Gail”, who participated in Taiwan’s TV program "Jungle Voice" (ETtoday), will come to perform singing.

The organizer will immediately hold the awards ceremony and invites the winner to participate in "Jungle Voice". The winner and runner-up winners will also be invited to sing in the 2019 Taiwan National Day concert in bangkok.
