  • Electric Bicycles’ Plates Need to Be Licensed Before They Can Be Ridden on The Road

The North City Service Station of the Immigration Agency recently conducted volunteer translation education training, and cooperated with Taipei City Motor Vehicles Office to jointly advocate the new regulations on electric bicycles. Since November, all electric bicycles have been required to apply for plate registration and control. Since a lot of new residents use them regularly, the Immigration Agency has organized an advocacy campaign to remind new residents to register and receive licenses proactively to avoid violating the new law.
