The "Foreigners' Life Safety and Public Security Symposium" was jointly held by the Chinese Culture University and the Shilin Precinct, Taipei City Police Department. The students were informed of the police's security measures for personal safety, traffic safety, anti-drug and anti-fraud efforts, and promotion of crime prevention by the deputy chief and several police units. Students also learnt about Taipei City's public security through the symposium, which shows that the police are concerned about campus safety.

According to the deputy director of the Shilin Precinct, Taipei City Police Department, upholding campus safety has long been a top priority for the police. Shilin police will continue to develop their relationship with the school in order to jointly manage campus safety, considering the language barrier faced by international students and their lack of knowledge with Taiwan's local culture. The deputy director also urged students to contact the police right away if they come across any infractions of their personal safety. The police will conduct thorough investigations and use caution in all situations. The police aspire to collectively create a robust and effective social safety net through the collaboration of the police, schools, and the community.
