In 2030, fewer than 50% of the public would continue to watch linear TV, and 30% will select mixed audio-visual media, according to Dr. Wilasinee Phiphitkul, general manager of Thai PBS. The younger generation, Thailand, is more aware of the shift. Thai PBS aggressively invests in staff and technological improvements, upholds the people's confidence in and belief in the importance of public media, and anticipates transitioning from a traditional television station to a diverse platform in order to accomplish digital transformation.

According to Kristian Porter, CEO of Public Media Alliance (PMA), false news has a significant impact on the media in many different nations, making it crucial to preserve openness in front of the general public. The participating worldwide media hope that no matter how the public media changes in the digital era, they will uphold the people's confidence regardless of how the PTS worldwide symposium addresses the issue of inadequate resources and dissemination.
