According to Bongbong Marcos to PNP generals: No room for corruption, abuses in gov't | Inquirer News, a new group of new generals in the Philippine National Police (PNP) were reminded on September 27 by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. of the government's zero tolerance policy for corruption and violations of human rights.

Marcos urged them to uphold the organization's prestige by acting honorably during the event in Malacañang for the promotion of PNP personnel.

In his address, Marcos emphasized the need to restate the PNP's zero-tolerance attitude on corruption and violations of human rights, as well as the government as a whole.

In addition, Marcos asked the 55 new star-ranked PNP officers—among them, one Police Lieutenant General, seven Police Major Generals, and 47 Police Brigadier Generals—to make a concerted effort to win and maintain the confidence of the general people in the PNP.
