Tainan Spring listed Top 10 new architecture projects globally

Since Tainan Spring opened on March 7, it has become one of the most popular places in Tainan City. Tainan Spring is the biggest parent-child park that includes the transformation of a former city-center shopping mall into an urban lagoon surrounded by young plants that will develop into a lush jungle, reconnecting the city with nature and its waterfront. It, which was praised by Forbes as one of the seven most picturesque public parks around the world, became the newest popular check-in place on Facebook and also was listed Top 10 new architecture projects around the world by The Guardian.

Tainan Spring has been successively reported by foreign media, including The Guardian, Het Financieele Dagblad, ArchDaily, ArchDaily, Dezeen, Designboom, SINCE&VIE, DETAIL, INHABITAT, ELLE DECTOR, gaining great popularity among Tainan's citizens and the international community, Tainan City Mayor Huang Wei-Che stated.

Tainan Spring creates a new landscape strategy to unify the site of the former China Town Mall, reserving the beauty of historical booms and busts, the Bureau of Urban Development of Tainan City Government stated. This parent-child park is equally famous with other architecture projects, including Museum of Contemporary Art Helga de Alvear in Spain, Beyond Survival Safe Space in Bangladesh, Mac House in Spain, Alex’s guesthouse in Belgium, Stone Garden in Lebanon, Bó Mon preschool in Vietnam, Emergency Scenery in Spain, UHP synagogue in Paraguay, and Fass school and teachers’ residence in Senegal.
