An Indonesian Immigrant Won the First Place in the Activity Held by NIA

National Immigration Agency (NIA, 移民署) held the voting activity for the purpose of recording the view of the castle, due to the movement of the NIA building.  According to the Ministry of the Interior(內政部), more than 500 people actively participated in the vote. Lin Lilian, an Indonesian immigrant, won first place of the activity by virtue of the memorial photograph named “My Home is a Castle”.

Lin Lilian has obtained an ID card for living in Taiwan several years. “This castle is my home in Taiwan”, Lin Lilian said.

She has resolutely devoted herself to interpretation work in the early days of the establishment of NIA in 1996. Within 14 years of the dedication, many new residents' help-seeking problems have been solved with the assistance of Lilian, which made her feel very pleased and proud. .

The award-winning memorial photograph record the reminisces, including the landscape of garden which hadn’t been destroyed by the typhoon. The reappearance of the old picture made people cast a vote of memories.
