Minghsin University of Science and Technology suggested Ogwal Solomon, a foreign student from Republic of Uganda who excelled in English, serve as an English teacher in a local elementary school. He insisted on speaking English to the students in elementary school. Ogwal stated that he enjoys interacting with kids, that he thinks Taiwanese people diligent and devoted, and that he hopes to bring a piece of Taiwan back to his country.

Ogwal transferred to the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Minghsin University of Science and Technology. The school took notice of his excellent English skills and made arrangements for him to work part-time in the library so that Taiwanese students could practice speaking English with him. Through language study and engagement with foreign students, local students can improve their English skills.

Ogwal also works as an English teacher in the clubs of Chujen Elementary School, and used football, badminton, and table tennis to teach English. Ogwal claimed that he can communicate well in Chinese. The purpose of going to Chujen Elementary School is to help children improve their English skills. Therefore, during class, he will insist on communicating with children in English, let them get used to listening to English, and guide them to try express in English.

Ogwal observed Taiwanese culture and thinking patterns. He believed that it was important to learn from Taiwanese people's hard work, dedication, and spirit of sacrifice. He added that Taiwanese people are friendly and helpful.
