JinWen University Vietnam Program Students Experience Taiwanese Traditional Agronomy Through Folk Activities

JinWen University of Science & Technology held a folk custom experience activity for the Vietnam Program students and encouraged those Vietnamese students to learn about Taiwan ’s agronomy and innovative traditional industries after school and to enrich their life experience of studying abroad in Taiwan.

The experience activity was held at the Toucheng Leisure Farm and the Lucky Art. They experienced a lively ecological tour of the farm, such as picking oranges and making fruit vinegar at the Toucheng Leisure Farm. When using leaf painting or pen drawing to make their own clothes or handbag souvenirs, Ruan Wenjian, a student of the Food and Beverage Management Department, even movingly said, "Thanks to Taiwan, I got a chance to study in the university in Taiwan" and drew a pattern of "I love Taiwan" on the handbag. Students also did crayon drawing, hand-made colored pens, different types of crayons DIY, body painting, and taking photos on the stage at the Lucky Art. They all had so much fun!

Cooperating with the government's policy of promoting education in the New Southbound Policy and expanding and deepening the relationship between the ASEAN and key countries in Southeast Asia, JinWen University of Science & Technology has cultivated Vietnamese-Taiwan businessmen with the advantages of high-quality technical and vocational education that companies love most. It also established an Industry-Academia Collaboration Program, which has already handled the fourth Vietnamese Industry-Academia Collaboration Program for International Students that mainly offers 4 courses, such as Computer and Communications, Tourism, Business Management, and the Applied Foreign Languages. It has already recruited 350 Vietnamese students in total.
