A number of government-to-government, public-private, and business agreements that have been negotiated over the past few months are expected to be signed on the fringes of the APEC Summit, according to Marcos. These agreements cover priority sectors like nuclear energy, artificial intelligence for weather forecasting, health sciences, particularly cancer research, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and satellite connectivity.

According to the President, he will speak with American business executives to advance trade in the Philippines, just like he has done on previous trips to the US.
