In August, a subscription-based streaming service will present the world premiere of "Love in Taipei," which was shot in Taipei in 2021 that based on the bestselling book "Loveboat, Taipei."

You can see Taipei 101, the Raohe Street Night Market, the Bopiliao Historic Block, the Grand Hotel, as well as other places of interest in Taipei City in the "Love in Taipei" trailer. The storyline of the movie centers on an Asian-American girl celebrating her birthday. Her parents sent her to a summer camp in Taipei as a birthday surprise so she could study Chinese, practice calligraphy, and discover Taiwan's many cultures.

The primary characters are entirely played by Asian actors, including the lead Ashley Liao, Ross Butler, Janet Hsieh, and Mason Lee. The movie is directed by Arvin Chen, who also directed the movie "Au Revoir Taipei." On August 10, the whole movie is anticipated to be made available on the streaming service Paramount+ in the United States and Canada. It will also be accessible in August in the United Kingdom, Italy, Latin America, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, and France.
