According to CECC, CECC confirms 3 more imported cases, cases arrive in Taiwan from the Philippines and India.

On April 19, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced three new confirmed imported cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in Taiwan. Those three new cases arrived in Taiwan from the Philippines (Case #1075 and Case #1076) and India (Case #1077).
Case #1075 and Case #1076 are two females in their 30s from the Philippines. The two Filipino women traveled to Taiwan for work on April 4. They didn't experience any symptoms upon arrival and during their stay in a group quarantine facility. They were tested for COVID-19 on April 17 at the end of the quarantine period. Infection with COVID-19 was laboratory-confirmed in the cases on April 19.

Case #1077 is an over 20-year-old male from India. He traveled to Taiwan for work on April 2. He didn't experience any symptoms after arrival and during the quarantine period. He completed the quarantine period on April 17. He took a self-paid test arranged by the company he worked for, and infection with COVID-19 was laboratory-confirmed in the case on April 19.
The CECC reported that a cumulative total of 198,978 cases related to COVID-19 have been reported in Taiwan among which COVID-19 has been ruled out in 197,470. Of these reported cases, infection with COVID-19 was laboratory-confirmed in 1076 cases. Of the 1076 confirmed cases, 960 are imported; 77 are indigenous; 36 are naval crew members aboard the Panshi fast combat support ship; 2 are infections on an aircraft; 1 case has unknown sources of infection; and 1 case (Case #530) has been removed (Case #530 is not assigned to any patients). Of the confirmed cases, there have been 11 deaths, and 1034 patients have been released from isolation, with the other 31 patients remaining hospitalized in isolation.
