 “New landmark” in occupation safety: occupational accident insurance mandatory for all employees includes foreigners in Taiwan

Taiwan recently passed a new Occupational Accident Insurance and Protection Act, touted as a gift for workers ahead of the May 1 Labor Day. Moreover, the legislation includes foreign workers in Taiwan. The Senior Secretary of MOI Hsu Jian-Lin and the NIA team leader Tsai Jeng-Jie recently published a book to explain the immigration process. The book is called “Taiwan immigration! Things you must know; a detailed explanation to immigration law and policy”(《移民台灣!你不可不知的事:一本精通申辦移民的法令須知與實務》). The book is available in bookstores and online.
