After graduating from the Department of Chinese Studies at Yale University, he continued to pursue a master’s degree in journalism at Columbia University. Afterward, he devoted himself to journalism jobs in both America and Hong Kong.

To further promote recruitment & employment of foreign professionals, the “Act for the recruitment and employment of foreign professionals” came into effect on February 8, 2018.
The R.O.C. (Taiwan) Employment Gold Card came into effect on the same day too. It combines a work permit, R.O.C. (Taiwan) Resident Certificate, Alien Residence Certificate, and re-entry permit.
Employment Gold Card holders enjoy the benefits of searching for jobs, tax relief, visitor visa for visiting relatives, applying for permanent residence, and joining National Health Insurance.
