The "2023 Penghu International Fireworks Festival" for this year will begin on April 20 and run until June 29. This year, in addition to a number of great fire shows and stage performances, the festival works with Disney in the US to tie the drone show into the celebration of Disney's centenary. A test demonstration of 200 drones and fireworks will take place in Guanyinting Park on April 13.

The establishment of Disney in the United States becomes 100 years old this year. Disney and the Penghu County Government collaborated to create a drone light display that included the centennial celebration's theme. Every Monday and Thursday at 9:00 p.m. from April 20 to June 29 in Guanyinting Park, fireworks will be fired off for 10 minutes as 700 drones perform. It will be presented on Jibei, Cimei, and Wangan, three remote islands, on May 12, 24, and 10. In the opening and closing two concerts, 900 drones were among them. Additionally, this year's Penghu International Fireworks Festival introduced the limited-edition products for Disney's 100th anniversary, which are currently available for pre-order.

The Penghu International Fireworks Festival, according to Penghu County Mayor Chen Guangfu (陳光復), is Taiwan's oldest tourism promotion event. It will be incorporated into the Disney Centennial Celebration Drone Light Show this year. Visitors from all over the world are invited to Penghu to take part in the most thrilling fireworks feast. They anticipate more than 1.2 million people may visit this year.
