Ixwcca (宜萱婦幼關懷協會) pays for 250 people’s 1-year insurance, including students, volunteers, teachers, and children from 5 preschool special education classes in Yilan county. The immigrant beneficiaries praised the Taiwanese for being kind and thoughtful.
The main beneficiaries of Ixwcca are immigrants and underprivileged families. This year, some teachers and students were affected by the pandemic outbreak as classes were suspended. Besides, some parents needed to serve quarantine or self-management of health. Therefore, Ixwcca donated rice grains to disadvantaged families.
Pan Jin Xiu (潘錦秀), an immigrant from Vietnam, mentioned that after getting married in Taiwan, she received long-term care from Ixwcca and even free insurance during the pandemic period. She could sense the friendliness and thoughtfulness of the Taiwanese.
