In order to creatively market the “Hospitable B&B” brand, the Tourism Bureau held a special Gold “Hospitable B&B” voting event this year, divided into five main themes: [Natural Ecology], [Unique Architecture], [Cultural Exploration], [Family & Pets], and [Gourmet Feast], attracting a total of 310 participating businesses. After two months of online voting and expert reviews, the final 103 Gold Award winners were announced recently.

During the online voting period, many B&B owners actively mobilized support, while loyal customers voluntarily voted for their favorite B&Bs. Additionally, local B&B associations and local governments fully supported and promoted the participating B&Bs. The Tourism Bureau stated that the selection process was very challenging, as each participant was an excellent “Hospitable B&B” from across Taiwan. The judging panel meticulously reviewed every submission based on criteria such as thematic uniqueness, international perspective, diverse tourism offerings, corporate social responsibility (CSR), and digital technology.
Director-General of the Tourism Bureau, Chou Yung-Hui, noted that “Hospitable B&Bs” were selected from over 10,000 legally registered B&Bs across Taiwan, adhering to the brand’s six core values: Kindness, Friendliness, Cleanliness, Hygiene, Safety, and Cultivation. The B&Bs that won the Gold Award are the best of the best. Moving forward, the Tourism Bureau will continue to market the “Hospitable B&B” brand, striving to make it a focal point for travelers to experience local life and culture, allowing visitors to feel the warmth and excitement of their travel in Taiwan.

To reward the winning Hospitable B&B operators, the Tourism Bureau has launched several discount programs, including [Buy 1 Get 1 Free], [Joint Member Discounts] offered by the Taiwan Hospitable B&B Association, and [Hualien-Taitung Exclusive Plans] to attract more domestic and international travelers to experience the warm hospitality of “Hospitable B&Bs.”
