Turkish Food Channel beIn Gurme, IZ TV, Magazine Food and Travel Chief of Turkish Edition Ebru Erke experienced culture of aboriginal Tsou tribe and process of making of Alishan tea in Chiayi County, showing beauty of Taiwan to the world.
Ms. Erbu Erke visited YUYUPAS which is the traditional house of Tsou Tribe at lalauya and presented various of clothing, hunting tools and daily utensils of Tsou tribe. She also experienced to make the leather carving bracelet as well as key ring by herself and tasted the Tsou-style meal cooked by Chiu Mei-hui(邱梅惠) who is the owner of A Caper House (金皮雕工作室&不安於室). She also went to the Shengli Farm(生力農場) to experience tea making, and learned the good taste of Alishan tea comes from complicated tea making process with great efforts.
Chiayi County Mayor Wong Zhang-liang(翁章梁) stated that Chiayi County has beautiful scenery, good tea and Tsou culture. In addition to continuously promote Chiayi in Taiwan, it should also make efforts on presenting Chiayi internationally, hoping to boost the tourism in Chiayi.
