If you frequently experience dizziness or vertigo and are unsure which department to visit, use the following symptoms as a simple guide:
Dizziness
- Symptoms: A sensation of lightheadedness, like swaying on a boat, possibly accompanied by limb weakness, blurred vision, or slurred speech.
- Recommended department: Neurology
(Especially for older adults or those with cardiovascular issues, neurology is recommended for a comprehensive evaluation.)

Vertigo
- Symptoms: Spinning sensation when changing positions, room spinning, nausea, vomiting, etc.
- Recommended department: Otolaryngology (ENT)
(For younger patients, ENT is the first choice.)

Syncope (Fainting)
- Symptoms: Sudden loss of consciousness, possibly related to arrhythmia, orthostatic hypotension, medication-induced low blood pressure, vasovagal syncope, etc.
- Recommended department: Cardiology

Summary
Young individuals typically fall under ENT, while older people or those with cardiovascular concerns should prioritize neurology. If syncope occurs, cardiology care is necessary immediately.
