September 16 and 17 will see the biggest Taiwan Plus cultural event of the year in Japan. More than 30 Japanese media will be present for the publicity press conference, which will be place at Eslite Spectrum Nihonbashi first.

According to the head (謝長廷) of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office in Japan, 200,000 people participated in the Cultural Festival "TAIWAN PLUS" last year, setting a new record. There is a strong bond between the two nations; particularly during the pandemic, Taiwan and Japan support one another by providing masks and vaccines to each other.

The "TAIWAN PLUS" cultural event of last year attracted 200,000 attendees over the course of two days, according to the Genera Association of Chinese Culture (GACC). GACC believes that Taiwan's local products, including clothing, cuisine, music, and design, can be completely showcased in Tokyo this year.
