"RE峇BLIC - Joint Exhibition of Filipino Contemporary Artists" invites two Filipino artists to jointly create. It will be exhibited at Exhibition Hall 1 of the National Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall from March 18th to March 29th. Visit for free and walk into the childlike world of Filipino artists.

Child's play is the exhibition's topic. Through the use of their technological expertise gained during their development, the artists create unique and amusing works of art by combining their most emotionally charged events, video game settings, well-known characters, or toys that can't be put down with their most beautiful childhood memories.

“RE峇BLIC” is the combined word of the English Republic, and “峇” means fit. With the joint efforts of two artists, they created a humanistic country full of fantasy. Rene B. Cuvos is a Filipino Asian contemporary artist born in 1980. Inspiration comes from childhood life, such as cartoons, children's picture books, and the process of getting along with parents. He yearns for children's boundless imagination space and will not be judged by anyone.

Blic Pinas, another artist, was born in the Philippines in 1985 and currently works as a full-time muralist and member of a street art collective. Human hands have always been the central component in Blic's paintings, taking the faces of the primary characters. The faces in the paintings go beyond facial expressions to portray emotions through hand gestures and sign language.
