President Tsai Ing-wen (蔡英文總統) recently stated that the total number of vaccines obtained in Taiwan has exceeded 8.9 million doses, and large-scale injections will continue. The most important thing is that vaccination must become a "national movement" (全民運動) in order to improve the collective protection of Taiwan's society as soon as possible. People who have not yet done their wish registration should register as soon as possible.

The President posted on Facebook that three planes of donated and purchased vaccines arrived in Taiwan on the same day. On the afternoon of the 15th, a total of 3 batches of vaccines arrived one after another. One batch is 970,000 doses of AZ vaccine donated by the Japanese government, and the other two batches are the 560,000 doses of AZ vaccine and 350,000 doses of Moderna (莫德納) vaccine ordered by Taiwan.

President Tsai Ing-wen once again thanked Japan for the assistance, the diplomatic team's hard work on the front line, and all government personnel who have been monitoring the progress and continuously outsourcing vaccines every day. Thanks to the joint efforts of everyone, the total number of vaccines obtained in Taiwan has exceeded 8.9 million doses, and large-scale injections will continue. In addition, the most important thing is that vaccination must become a "national movement" in order to enhance the collective protection of Taiwan’s society as soon as possible.
