The e-commerce platform Shopee specifically developed the "Southeast Asia Second Generation Immigrants Talent Scholarship" (東南亞新二代人才獎學金)to foster the development of new industry talent from south of the border. The scholarship has drawn over 600 applications from 82 schools and institutions. Up to NT$4 million in scholarships are anticipated to be given out overall this year.

Enrollment is available through October 31st.

This year, the e-commerce platform announced, it updated its scholarship program to a support program and extended it, offering up to $4 million in bonuses to 130 second-generation immigrant talents.

Apart from giving out bursaries and scholarships, it also organized lectures on community marketing and cross-field career experience, live broadcast interviews, and a number of exchange activities. The e-commerce platform will give selected winners priority for internship interviews.
