- The epidemic in Taiwan improves: The Nationwide Level 3 Alert is brought down to Level 2
The epidemic in Taiwan is finally improving after being under the nationwide level 3 alert for 2 months. The CECC announced that the nationwide level 2 alert will be implemented beginning July 27. Restrictions for gatherings are loosened to 50 people indoors and 100 people outdoors. Restaurants may be open for dining in if the appropriate epidemic prevention measures are taken.
- The “TaipeiPASS app” is launched in Taipei City and New Taipei City for citizens to register for vaccinations
Taipei City in cooperation with the CECC launched the "TaipeiPASS App" for citizens to register for vaccinations. This app is not limited to the residents of Taipei City, it is also open to other cities and counties.Just download the app and you can register for the vaccine. - Epidemic prevention subsidies for families are open for application at post offices
The Executive Yuan announced on July 15 the distribution of epidemic prevention subsidies for families. Subsidies amount to NTD10,000 for each child in elementary school and lower levels. Applications at the post office are open beginning July 15. - The Civil Affairs Bureau, Kaohsiung City Government launches New Immigrants' Life Adaptation Courses
To assist new immigrants in adjusting to the Taiwanese community. The Civil Affairs Bureau, Kaohsiung City Government launched life adaptation courses for new immigrants. After taking 30 hours of the course, participants can receive a certificate of completion. The New Immigrants' Life Adaptation Course is completely free and new immigrants are welcome to join.
