The firefighting camp alumni reunion of Filipino Chinese Cultural and Economic Association visited The General Association of Chinese Culture at the Liberty Hall in Manila and exchanged opinions on sending Filipino-Chinese firefighters to Taiwan for professional training.

The firefighting camp alumni reunion of Filipino Chinese Cultural and Economic Association is composed of more than 60 Filipino-Chinese volunteer fire brigades and nearly 300 firefighters. The purpose of the establishment is to promote the unity and mutual assistance of all students; and each member must receive nearly 40 hours of professional training at the training center of National Fire Agency, Ministry of The Interior, R.O.C (Taiwan) under the arrangement of the Filipino Chinese Cultural and Economic Association.

Zhou, Yu-Lie, executive director of the Filipino Chinese Cultural and Economic Association, stated that it is a major event in the Philippine firefighting industry for Filipino Chinese firefighters to go to Taiwan to receive professional training each year. A total of 10 sessions have been held so far. The disaster relief skills from training center, Fire Agency in Taiwan cannot be learned in the Philippines. After 5 days of professional training, everyone has benefited a lot. Zhou, Yu-Lie looks forward to training in Taiwan next year can be smooth.
