Vietnam has declared that beginning of August 15 all nationals of all countries can apply for electronic visas. The visa charge can be saved by Taiwanese travelers by at least NT$3,000. Additionally, a lot more individuals are now inquiring about traveling to Vietnam. Questions regarding Vietnam's travel routes were virtually as common at the travel expo as those about Japan, South Korea, and Thailand.

Basically, tourists may apply for an electronic visa online as long as they book a flight/hotel package, claim travel agents. Passengers can also seek a travel agency to help them with the group visa application if they are still concerned about the status of their electronic visa for independent travel.

In addition, the Tourism Bureau said that over 4.924 million nationals departed in the first half of the year, with Japan ranked first, followed by China and South Korea, with Vietnam moving up to fourth position.

The travel firm said that Taiwanese travelers to Vietnam were rather common before the epidemic broke out. Taiwanese visitors were more inclined to visit Vietnam after Vietnam announced the availability of the application for electronic visas. Airlines thus have increased direct flights from Taiwan to well-known tourist destinations in Vietnam. In the second part of the year, Taiwanese visitors will increasingly choose to travel to Vietnam.
