From April 22 through May 1st, the Guantian Visitor Center will be the site of the "2023 Siraya Grassland Festival." (2023西拉雅森活節) This year, it is coupled for the first time with a hot air balloon trip experience, allowing visitors to soar over the wide grassland below. This time, events including music festivals, fairs, and light sculpture displays will also be present.

The third year of the "Siraya Grassland Festival" series of events has begun. After Taitung, Kaohsiung, and Taichung, Tainan has joined the list of cities that organize "hot air balloon carnivals" this year thanks to the addition of a hot air balloon riding experience. A variety of bands and vocalists (PiA吳蓓雅、南西肯恩、怕胖團) will be invited to perform beginning on April 22 for two straight days. A unique "Hot Air Balloon Light Sculpture Show" was held on the evening of April 29, which allows visitors enjoy visual and aural experience of hot air balloon with special light effects.

From April 29 to May 1, the hot air balloon ride experience activity will be available. The daily cap is 160 passengers, and the fee is NT$500 per person. Visitors can make reservations through travel agencies.

The Guantian Visitor Center has lovely grasslands and distinctive landscape installation art, making it one of the trendiest locations in recent years for Instagram photos, according to the director (徐振能) of the Siraya National Scenic Area Administration. To satisfy public expectation and display the majesty of the hot air balloon carnival, hot air balloon components have been added to the Siraya Grassland Festival.
