MOE stated that when performing art groups of or below tertiary levels have practices, there should be up to 80 people indoors and up to 300 people outdoors. The list of instructors and students should be recorded and managed. Practices should always be done by the same members, and the health monitoring plan and contact tracing mechanism should be set for future uses.
Take into consideration the needs of students who cannot play the wind instruments or have choir practices with masks. MOE pointed out that masks can be temporarily removed during performances or practices. However, one should immediately put on masks once the performances or practices end. Furthermore, schools should strengthen epidemic prevention regulations according to the situation. For example, asking students and instructors to wear goggles and face shields or placing partitions to reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission via droplets.
