This workshop invited the head (吳政庭) of the Taiwan Gender Equity Education Association (TGEEA) and the principal (黃木姻) of Taoyuan City Chung-Yuan Elementary School to give a speech on gender equality and cross-cultural understanding in order to increase local governments' and new immigrants' learning center partners' awareness of gender equality and multicultural knowledge. The attendees will likely find the keynote presentations on cultural concerns useful when handling future business involving new immigrants.

According to the Ministry of Education, new immigrants and their children have undeniably contributed significantly to Taiwan's progress. Through this exchange, it is intended that fresh ideas for lifelong learning for the new immigrants might be inspired and included into the educational programs for them in the future.
