Taoyuan City has spent almost a year preparing, introducing big data and tourism public opinion, and upgrading the international version of the Taoyuan Tourism Guide Network to offer services in English, Japanese, Korean, Indian, Thai, Vietnamese, and other languages as the global tourism market recovers from the epidemic.

In addition to offering services in English, Japanese, Korean, Indian, Thai, and Vietnamese, the new Taoyuan tourism website has produced three significant international tourist features, according to the head (周柏吟) of Taoyuan City's Department of Tourism. These include the following: the system will use "big data on tourist behavior" to analyze the ranking of popular tourist attractions among foreign tourists; it will allow tourists from various countries to search for the country online; and it will automatically switch to the language of the nation based on the language or location used by international tourists when searching the website.

A "Friendly Sightseeing Guide" service is also introduced by the updated website. Apart from cutting down on the time it takes for visitors to ask questions, visitors can also offer LBS location-appropriate service guides in different districts, suggested travel guides, tax refunds, shopping, lodging, Taoyuan Metro, transportation, booking flights, and other services. When paired with features like POI (points of interest) and map navigation, these services make it simple for visitors from other countries to understand Taoyuan travel information.
